What is impt in life ? Wealth ? Frame ? Or having many likes or friends in fb ? Now, i realised that most impt of all is health both phyiscal and mental health .. With good health, one can do a lot of things .. Money can never buy health .. To have a healthy mindset, one must have a positive outlook in life and have social support from friends or family members.. One has to learn how to let go.. When one is stressful, one needs to find ways to de-stress and be peaceful with oneself .. In time of troubles, it is the also a time to know who lends a helping hand or listening ear .. And also know who wanna put in 2 cents worth of tot when it is not necessary at all.. The best way of being there for someone is quietly bto next to that person, waiting to lend a listening ear or to say " Be strong and Take care " .. Sometimes, we should try to place ourselves in others' shoes & try to understand the other party ..

It has been a while since i last blogged .. Been busy with work and my lazy bone starts to tigger in me .. Wow ~ Time flies .. It is already Dec ! Looking forward to my long holiday break :) Took leave from 27/12 to 30/12.. So my official last working day for 2011 is 23/12 and back to work on 3/1/2012 .. heehee :p*rubbing hands in glee* Will be heading to HK ! It has been a decade since I last went there .. Really looking forward ! :)

Finally it is month of Aug .. No need to work on sat liao .. Yay ! :) Weekends are back to normal.. Today is National Curry Day in Singapore .. U must be wondering : is this a new Public holiday ? The curry issue got heated up when there was an article on 2 families.. The PRC family complained to Community Mediation Centre that their Indian family cooked curry & they can't stand the smell.. In the end, it was agreed that the Indian family can only cook curry WHEN the PRC family is not at home :( Oh well ~ Personally, I dun agree that the Indian should cook curry only when PRC neighbour is not at home.. What if the PRC family is at home the whole day ? And Indian family can't be peeping toms whole time to peep whether PRC family is at home or not..

Last week, some Singaporeans created a fb page named "Cook and Share a pot of curry!" Our law minister clarified that the incident took place about seven years ago and that the agreement was suggested by one of the two parties — not the mediator who was present and urged Singaporeans not turn it into a xenophobic attack on foreigners in general.. Xenophobic -hated feelings towards foreigners..There are 62k attendees for curry event! Wow ! My mom & i bought curries to support this event .. This event is not to show that we hate foreigners.. It is to show that people should learn to be tolerance towards others as we are living in a multi-racial community .. When I saw all the yummy currylious photos, really feel proud to be part of this event and all the Singaporeans who took part in this event! There are even peoples from other countries who took part ! Wow ~ This is really the power of social media ! :) In curry, we stand united !! :)

It has been a long time since i last blog.. Much has happened.. Went to Malacca in late may..Attended Jap lessons every week after work .. Working half day on sat.. Doing jap homework on sun nite.. Practicing jap during free time.. Haiz.. Sometimes, it is not worth at all.. At the end of the day, wat i get in return are hurtful words which make one heartbroken.. Haiz.. I truely understand wat it means when human fail u, God will never fail u... I know that God will always be there for me.. I know i can do it with God's strength.. I won't attending jap lessons anymore..

Received a piece of good news ! I got a promotion ! So happy ;) In life, u gain some, u lose some.. I thank God that now i have gain more than ever ! :)

It has been a week since GE2011.. Never been interested in politics until this GE 2011 when they redrawn the the boundaries of GRC.. Basically, a few block ard my area are being thrown to AMK GRC.. Really felt like a pawn in the chess game.. Oh well.. Went to 2 Worker's Party rallies .. Really awesome experience ! :) Swarms of people flocked to stadiums to listen to their rally speech..

Stayed up till 3am to watch the results last sat.. The best news of all is that Worker's party won the Alujunied GRC ! :) MFA Minister George Yeo has to leave his post.. Oh well.. The most heartbreaking news of all is the Mr Chiam See Tong & Ms Lina Chiam lost in Bishan-Tao Payoh GRC & Potong Pasir SMC.. Esp Mr Chiam See Tong who lost in Potong Pasir.. He served the people with all his heart.. Haiz.. Until now, i still feel sad for him.. Despite of his weak health, he still got the willpower & the fighting spirit to walk around, talking to people & speaking at rallies.. really admire this humble man who loves Singapore & Singaporean.. I remembered wat he said : " I am not a brave man. I love Singapore & Singaporeans " His another pharse i will remember & i think it is most encouraging : " When there is life, there is hope. When there is hope, you can do anything under the sun" :) Took a trip to Potong Pasir & took a picture of the famous signboard before they may take it down :( Hope he will be in good health & continue to fight in next GE :) He will always be my hero ! :)

Another person i admire during GE 2011 is the young & sweet Nicole Seah ! :) Her confidence won me over :) U go girl ! Very proud that such a young gal has mature thinking .. She has a lot of potential.. Another thing i noticed is this GE2011 is the power of social media ! FB has been crazy during the week before GE ! Many posts & comments flooded in ! WoW ! As for now, let's wait & see wat happens during the following 5 years ..Looking forward to GE2016 !
